BT Technologies has once again commissioned PWT (Manufacturer of the Monolith Pier, DDDCAPS and SRP) to manufacture our newest product. The TAK-01QR is a quick release finder bracket manufactured especially for Takahashi. Here are some of our key points of our newest product:

1. Two piece design
2. Takahashi matching color and textured finish for an OEM look
3. Two stainless knurled thumbscrews for very positive lock. Strong enough to actually use to point the telescope
4. Same size as the flat mounting area on the Takahashi telescopes. Does not over hang from any side
5. Dead stops to prevent the bracket from running into the telescope body during insertion (or removal)
6. Depression (CNC) machined into the body to prevent the bracket from accidentally falling out if the thumbscrews are not tightened all the way
7. Reversible for left or right hand mounting
8. Does not interfere with the focus lock
9. Lightweight and low profile. Fully precision CNC machined from solid billet of 6061-T6 aircraft quality aluminum
10. Precision tolerances to maintain pointing accuracy after removal and re-insertion
11. Fits FC-60, FS-60-, FC-76, FS-78, Sky-90, FC-100, FS-102, FSQ-106, FC-125, FS-128, TOA-130, FS-152, Some Epsilon and MT models
12. All necessary hardware included using ONLY stainless steel

 BT Tech/Takahashi Focuser extender (Fits Takahashi TOA-130/150/FS-128/152 2.7"/4" Focuser Models)

The extender is installed by unscrewing the factory focuser, attaching the extender to the OTA and then re-attaching the focuser to the rear of the extender thereby increasing the distance by 3".  The reason for making this part was due to the large number of people that were getting annoyed by having to stack extensions on to the back of their scopes in order to achieve focus; both visually and when imaging.  This extension is fully CNC machined with 6061 T-6 aluminum and is powder coated in matching Takahashi color.  The inside of the extension is also powder coated flat black.

Stainless Steel Counterweights

NJP Counterweights

BT Technologies is proud to offer our brand new stainless steel counterweight designed especially for the Takahashi NJP mount. This is the only stainless counter weight that allows the user to keep his threaded counterweight shaft for their NJP. This also allows them the freedom of not having to upgrade their C/W shaft. Our stainless counterweights are fully CNC machined for a superb finish.

Our stainless counterweights can be purchased in the standard 6kg weight or our optional 9kg weight.

EM-400 Counterweights

This 7.5 KG (16.5 LBS) counter weight is made of 100 percent stainless steel including the knob and all hardware.  It is delivered in a polished finish and not only looks superb but will resist rust unlike the stock counter weight
